About the Role
Fairtex Nigeria Limited is seeking motivated graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme within the Tender Support function. This role is designed to provide structured exposure to tendering, bid management, contract administration, procurement support, commercial operations, and business development activities across the company’s EPCICM and industrial services portfolio.
Successful candidates will work alongside experienced commercial and operational personnel to support proposal development, documentation control, market intelligence gathering, client engagement activities, and internal coordination required for successful project acquisition.
Important: This is a development-focused position intended for recent graduates seeking practical industry experience. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced commercial environment supporting multiple bid and business development activities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tender documents.
- Assist with bid administration, document control, and proposal coordination activities.
- Compile, organize, and maintain tender records and commercial documentation.
- Support business development initiatives through market research and opportunity tracking.
- Assist with contract administration and commercial compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, engineering, and project teams during bid preparation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of client requests, tender schedules, and submission deadlines.
- Support procurement-related activities and supplier documentation reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial and tendering functions.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Interest in commercial operations, tendering, procurement, and business development within the oil and gas industry.
