What is Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP)?
Thermoplastic Composite Pipe is a fully bonded composite pipe system engineered to provide an alternative to conventional steel pipe and traditional flexible pipe technologies. The pipe structure utilizes thermoplastic materials and composite reinforcement to create a lightweight and corrosion-resistant flowline solution suitable for demanding offshore applications.
Unlike metallic pipeline systems, TCP does not suffer corrosion or embrittlement when exposed to substances such as water, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, or hydrogen sulfide.
